FGOI webinar – Demand for market analysis and export efforts is increasing!

Demand for market analyzes for exports and business in new markets for furniture and interior design is increasing and therefore we are starting a series of webinars to spread knowledge about the overseas markets: Egypt, South Africa, Canada and the USA.

The EU Furniture GO International project for the wood, furniture and interior design industry has conducted 4 comprehensive market analyzes for the markets in Egypt, South Africa, Canada and the USA.

First two  webinars are facilitated by Interior Cluster Sweden and will be held in Swedish. Participating in the webinars on the 8th and 9th of February  where the market analyzes are presented by Susanne Israelsson is free but requires registration.

Participants can register here for one or both webinars:

  • February 8 (Egypt and South Africa)
  • February 9 (Canada and USA)

The purpose of the reports is to provide a picture of the four countries’ furniture markets and the opportunity to create new business. We have focused on creating an understanding of the country (incredibly important when exporting), sales and trading conditions (what must be considered in order to succeed) and other important parameters for exporting to these markets. Since the project has its origins in the European Union, we have also described the agreements that these countries have with the EU.

The methodology for the reports is desktop research, interviews and a questionnaire answered by member companies in the project’s cluster organizations, about the companies’ wishes and experiences in Egypt, South Africa, Canada and the USA.

The market analyzes will be supplemented with a plan for how the involved cluster organizations from Sweden, Romania, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Slovenia and Spain will visit each other for business development and networking in 2022 and initiate activities for member companies in the focus countries for exposure and business meetings in 2022–2024.
